Corrie Lynn Lamb, MPA, JD

As the lead attorney at Shepherd Law, Corrie Lynn Lamb brings a wealth of experience in criminal defense, family law, business law, administrative law, and general civil litigation. In her criminal practice, Corrie primarily represents defendants charged with serious drug charges, violent felony charges, and sexual abuse felonies. In front of a jury, Corrie comes alive with a unique approach to persuasiveness and trial performance, drawing on her experience in theater and dance, along with her extensive trial experience, legal acumen, and ability to think
on her feet.

Although Corrie’s criminal practice is comprised mostly of high-level felonies, she also has extensive experience in misdemeanors, DUIs, and domestic violence offenses. In particular, Corrie’s background in administrative law, and her masters degree in Public Administration, allows Corrie to seamlessly handle the administrative side of a criminal DUI defense. Navigating the rules and regulations governing Wyoming Department of Transportation in order to preserve your access to a valid license is often something many defendants are left on their own, trying to figure out what a review hearing is, what forms need to be submitted, and how to argue for temporary driving privileges. Corrie not only represents her client on the criminal side of a DUI, but also ensures they have representation on the administrative side of DUI charges. Corrie’s holistic, and all-encompassing approach to problem solving and legal counsel truly sets her
apart in her field.

In Corrie’s civil practice, she is particularly passionate about family law, understanding the emotional intricacies involved and striving to provide compassionate, effective solutions for her clients. Her experience and education in the field of business law ensure that her clients are also well advised and educated about how to best protect their assets, and how to properly protect corporate interests that need to be separated, or sold, or otherwise restructured. She enjoys family law because of the complexity of the issues, the convalescing of so many of her legal interests/practices, and the unique opportunities to solve complex problems to reach individualized results

Corrie also practices in civil rights law, employment and discrimination law, appellate law, contract law, and business law. She enjoys the variety in her case load, and the unique opportunities to gain experience in multiple areas of the law. Unlike in larger cities, or more popular states, where attorneys and firms are forced to focus on one area of law, the general practice of law that encompasses multiple areas of law still exists in Wyoming. It’s one of the many reasons Corrie truly loves living and practicing in our great State.
